Golf for a Cause – Holiday Hack 2025

By Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community

This year, Fielding Law and Senior Attorney Ryan Cooper were proud to sponsor the Holiday Hack 2025 golf tournament at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, on December 19, 2025. The event was about more than just golf. Every swing and shot helped support the Fisher House Foundation, making a meaningful difference for the families of wounded, injured, and ill service members and veterans.

The Calling of Fisher House

This nonprofit provides free lodging for families of wounded, injured, or ill service members and veterans. It allows them to stay close to their loved ones during treatment without worrying about the cost. Participation in the golf tournament directly supports this mission, helping families focus on what truly matters, being together.

The cost to play was $200 per player, which includes green fees, on-course games, lunch, and a post-tournament dinner. Every dollar goes straight to the organization, ensuring families receive the support and comfort they need during challenging times. By joining the tournament, golfers enjoy a day on the course. They also help make a real difference for those who have served.

Highlights From Our Very Own

Fielding Law proudly sponsored Hole 10 for the cause. Our hole was hosted by Case Manager Alyssia Sparks and People & Culture Siera Cerulle, who brought extra excitement with a giant dice game. Participants could donate additional funds to Fisher House for a chance to win and tee off from the kids’ tees for a better shot at the hole.

Alyssia Sparks shared that the tournament “was a hit.” Childhood friends, college teammates, fathers and sons, and more joined in foursomes, creating a day full of camaraderie. Hamburgers, drinks, and plenty of laughter kept spirits high as everyone played for a purpose.

Attorney Ryan Cooper even hit the course alongside his dad, making the event especially meaningful. We are grateful to everyone who joined us in supporting Fisher House this holiday season.

Striving to Inspire Lasting Change

Fielding Law is driven by a commitment to giving back and supporting the community. Through events like the Holiday Hack 2025, we were proud to help the Fisher House Foundation and their mission of keeping loved ones close during challenging times. We are also honored to support causes like the Jessie Reese NEGU Foundation, helping bring hope and resources to those who need it most. This work reflects how Fielding Law shows up for the community and our clients.

Fielding Law Attends OCTLA Top Gun Awards Charity Event

By Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community, Personal Injury

This past Saturday, our attorneys attended the OCTLA Top Gun Awards charity event. The occasion celebrated excellence in the legal community and contributed to a meaningful cause. Each year, OCTLA selects a charity, and this year the Jessie Rees Foundation was honored. The foundation brings hope and encouragement to children facing cancer. It provides support to families during difficult times.

Supporting a Meaningful Cause

Clark Fielding and the Fielding Law team purchased a table and made a donation to support the foundation. Senior Attorney Ryan Cooper contributed a football and jersey signed by NFL star Josh Allen to the silent auction. The generosity of attendees helped raise nearly $240,000 for the Jessie Rees Foundation, allowing the organization to continue its important programs for children and families.

Celebrating Community and Giving Back

For our attorneys, attending the OCTLA Top Gun Awards charity event was more than a night out. It was an opportunity to connect, celebrate the legal profession, and support a cause that makes a real difference. Fielding Law believes in standing beside clients and communities alike, showing that advocacy extends beyond the courtroom.

Support the Jessie Rees Foundation at the Top Gun Awards Gala

By Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community, Personal Injury

The Top Gun Awards Gala is just around the corner, taking place on November 22. This highly anticipated event is more than just a celebration; it is the premier occasion to honor excellence in trial law and the achievements of top trial lawyers in our community. Hosted by the respected Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, the gala brings together professionals from across the region to recognize outstanding attorneys while supporting a meaningful charitable cause. Do not miss out! Keep reading for the link to secure your tickets.

Giving Back with Joy

In addition to the awards, the evening will feature a silent auction to benefit the Jessie Rees Foundation. Jessie Rees, known lovingly as “Jessie,” was a kind, athletic, and faith-filled girl. She courageously fought cancer (DIPG) from March 3, 2011, to January 5, 2012. During her treatment, Jessie’s compassion for others shone through. She asked her parents a simple question: “How can we help them?” Jessie was referring to other children in long-term, in-patient care at Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

With support from her parents and the hospital, Jessie created JoyJars®, 64-ounce plastic jars filled with new toys and games. She stuffed over 3,000 of them with help from family and friends before she passed away. These bundles of joy carried her message to the world: “NEGU®,” which stands for Never Ever Give Up.

 Getting Involved in the Cause

Our very own Ryan Cooper, Senior attorney at Fielding Law and member of the OCTLA Board of Directors, will be donating a signed football from star athlete and reigning MVP of the NFL, Josh Allen to the gala auction. As a firm, we are honored to support this incredible event and cause by sponsoring a table at the Top Gun Awards Gala.

This is more than a night out, it is a chance to give back to the community and be a part of something bigger. Spots are limited, so click here to register.

 Keeping Our Promise to Serve

Events like these remind us why we do what we do. Recently, our team joined the OCTLA to stuff JoyJars®, a small act of service that reflects our larger purpose. The Top Gun Awards Gala celebrates excellence, integrity, and compassion, the same values that guide Fielding Law every day. Together we are stronger, continuing to advance our mission of service and justice.

Spreading Joy with NEGU

By Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community

Making a Difference Together

At Fielding Law, we believe in showing up for our community. Recently, several members of our team volunteered at the OCTLA Joy Jar Stuffing Event hosted by the Jessie Rees Foundation (NEGU – Never Ever Give Up).

Clark Fielding, Ryan Cooper, Evelyn McNeil, and Siera Cerulle joined volunteers from across the community to fill JoyJars® for children battling cancer. Each jar was packed with toys, games, and uplifting notes meant to remind every child that they are strong, loved, and never alone.

The experience was heartwarming and inspiring. It gave our team a meaningful way to support families going through difficult times while connecting with NEGU’s powerful message of hope.

About NEGU and the Jessie Rees Foundation

The Jessie Rees Foundation was created in honor of Jessie Rees, a young girl who inspired millions through her strength and compassion. During her own treatment for cancer, Jessie began filling jars with small toys and notes to encourage other children facing similar battles. Her message was simple: Never Ever Give Up.

Today, her legacy continues through NEGU’s outreach programs. Thousands of JoyJars® are delivered each year to hospitals and homes across the world. Each one carries Jessie’s love, her message of resilience, and a reminder that no one fights alone.

Reflections from the Fielding Law Team

The event made a lasting impression on everyone who attended.

Evelyn McNeil shared, “Stuffing the Joy Jars was a good reminder that seemingly small acts of kindness have a huge impact on people’s lives. I was also touched by Jessie’s story and inspired by how she went out of her way to bring light to others’ lives while going through a dark time.”

Siera Cerulle added, “The event gave me a deeper appreciation for the impact cancer has not only on children, but also on their families. It was emotional to witness so many people united by a shared purpose, throughout the NEGU community. I left feeling grateful, motivated, and more aware of how collective effort can make a real difference.”

Supporting the Cause Beyond Volunteering

Fielding Law’s connection with NEGU goes beyond one day of service. Ryan Cooper, Senior Attorney at Fielding Law, is donating a Josh Allen signed football to the 2025 OCTLA Top Gun Awards & Silent Auction.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the Jessie Rees Foundation. In addition, Fielding Law has purchased a table to further support the cause and honor those making a difference in the legal community.

This partnership reflects our shared belief that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact. By supporting NEGU, our team hopes to bring encouragement and strength to children who need it most.

Caring for Clients and Community

When you choose Fielding Law, you are choosing a team that values compassion, integrity, and service. Our dedication to helping others goes beyond our legal work and into the community.

We advocate for injured clients and support organizations like NEGU. Our mission always stays the same. We strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

If you or a loved one has been injured due to negligence, contact Fielding Law or call 833.88.SHARK.

Fielding Law’s Ryan Cooper Shares Pre-Law Advice at USD

By In the Community, Personal Injury

At Fielding Law, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge and experiences to help the next generation of legal professionals. The path to a legal career can feel overwhelming, especially for those just starting out. We strive to provide pre-law advice, mentorship for future lawyers, and honest insight whenever possible. Supporting future law students in even small ways helps make the journey more manageable and less isolating.

Ryan giving pre-law advice at USDConnecting With USD Pre-Law Students

On October 8, 2025, our own Ryan Cooper had the opportunity to give back by speaking to the USD Pre-Law Fraternity. The event gave students a chance to hear from a practicing personal injury attorney about his journey and the realities of law school. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with future legal professionals and help ease some of the uncertainty that comes with entering this field.

Ryan’s Journey to Law

Ryan shared his personal story, including his education, career path, and what led him to specialize in personal injury law. His biggest piece of advice for aspiring law students: “Take your notes by hand.” He offered practical insights for students considering a legal career and emphasized the importance of resilience, ethics, and dedication. By sharing his experiences, Ryan provided valuable guidance to help students navigate their own paths in law.

Practical Tips for Aspiring Lawyers

We encourage students to seek out internship opportunities early in their law school journey, as these experiences offer valuable exposure to the realities of legal practice. Internships can also help students discover which areas of law resonate most with them. Networking with attorneys, mentors, and other professionals is another step we urge students to take. Building these connections can open doors and help shape a more confident career path.

Why Fielding Law Supports Future Lawyers

We value every opportunity to connect with aspiring legal professionals and are always happy to support students exploring a future in law. By sharing real-world insights and guidance, we help students understand how legal theory translates into practice.

Why Hire Fielding Law

At Fielding Law, we believe that great legal representation begins with compassion, integrity, and education. Whether we are mentoring future attorneys or helping clients through difficult times, our goal remains the same: to improve lives through ethical and effective legal service.

Friday Nights with the Tritons

By Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community

Supporting Local Talent

At Fielding Law, we believe in showing up for our community—on and off the field. That is why we are proud to announce our newest sponsorship: San Clemente High School Football. The Tritons are a powerhouse of heart, hustle, and hometown pride, and we are honored to stand behind these student-athletes this season.

Football and Safety Go Hand in Hand

As personal injury attorneys, we are especially passionate about promoting safety. Football is a game of discipline, teamwork, and resilience—but it also comes with real risks. From head injuries to unsafe field conditions, we understand how important it is to take every precaution seriously.

When athletes are injured due to negligence—whether on school grounds, at away games, or during transportation—families deserve to know their legal rights. We hope no one needs our help, but if they do, we are here.

Why This Partnership Matters

San Clemente is more than a beach town—it is a community that rallies around its youth. Our support for the Tritons reflects our commitment to lifting others up. Whether it is a football team or an injured client, we believe people do better when they feel supported.

Fielding Law is not a massive firm with gimmicks. We are local, responsive, and truly care. That is what makes partnerships like this one so meaningful to us.
