Inside The Onward Ops Team Workout

In the Community

Building Community Through Fitness

At Fielding Law, we believe community is about more than showing up when someone needs help. It is also about supporting the people and organizations working to make a difference.

That is why we were proud to sponsor a special team workout event supporting Onward Ops on Saturday, July 11.

The event brought people together through fitness, teamwork, and a shared commitment to supporting transitioning service members. Fielding Law contributed $500 to cover 10 tickets, giving members of our team the opportunity to take part in the experience while supporting the mission behind the event.

The morning was built around camaraderie, purpose, and having fun. It also gave participants an opportunity to learn more about Onward Ops and the work it does to help service members as they transition into their next chapter.

A Workout Built for Everyone

The event took place at HYROX Performance Center, a high-energy fitness space focused on performance, positivity, and community.

The centerpiece of the morning was a 90-minute, music-driven team workout led by former service member SGT Ryan Hall and co-trained by Jake Shaw.

The workout was designed to challenge participants while remaining accessible to people with different fitness levels and abilities. Every movement could be scaled to meet the needs of the individual.

That approach helped keep the focus where it belonged: on the team.

Participants were not there to compete against one another. They were there to encourage each other, work together, and enjoy the experience.

The workout reflected a simple idea that applies far beyond fitness. People can accomplish more when they support one another.

Clark and Siera Join the Workout

Clark H. Fielding and Siera Garcia, People & Culture, represented Fielding Law at the event and took part in the morning alongside the other participants.

Their participation made the sponsorship even more personal. Rather than simply supporting the event financially, they were able to participate in the workout, meet community members, and learn more about Onward Ops’ mission firsthand.

The team atmosphere made it easy for everyone to get involved. Participants encouraged each other throughout the workout, regardless of their individual fitness levels or experience.

That was one of the most meaningful parts of the event.

Everyone showed up with different backgrounds and abilities. The workout gave them a reason to work toward the same goal.

For Clark and Siera, it was also an opportunity to connect with others who care about supporting service members and building stronger communities.

Supporting Onward Ops

The event also highlighted the important mission of Onward Ops.

Onward Ops helps transitioning service members find mentors, sponsorships, and their next mission. The organization works to connect veterans with people and resources that can help them navigate life after military service.

For many service members, leaving the military represents a significant transition. The structure, relationships, and sense of purpose that come with military service can change quickly.

Having the right support system can make that transition easier.

Events like this help bring attention to that mission while creating opportunities for people to connect. Participants were able to hear more about Onward Ops, meet people involved with the organization, and learn how community support can make an impact.

For Fielding Law, supporting that work was a natural fit.

We know how important it is for people to have someone in their corner when they face a major transition. Our work with clients is rooted in that same belief. We want people to know they do not have to navigate difficult moments alone.

More Than a Workout

The morning did not end when the workout finished.

After the 90-minute session, participants had the opportunity to enjoy food, meet vendors, and hear additional mission-focused talks. The event also included an introduction to an Onward Ops sponsorship coordinator.

Those conversations helped connect the physical challenge of the workout with the larger purpose behind the event.

Fitness created the setting. Community created the connection. The mission gave the morning its purpose.

That combination made the event more than a typical Saturday workout.

It was an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together, learn from one another, and support a meaningful cause.

A Community That Shows Up

HYROX Performance Center provided an energetic setting for the event. The facility is focused on creating a positive fitness experience where people can work toward their goals while feeling supported.

That environment was a strong match for the spirit of the event.

From the music and movement to the team atmosphere, the morning encouraged participants to push themselves while also looking out for the people around them.

That sense of community matters.

It can be easy to think of community support as something that happens through large donations or major initiatives. In reality, meaningful support can take many forms.

One day, it may mean sponsoring a ticket.
Another time, it could mean showing up.
And sometimes, the best support is learning about an organization and sharing its mission with others.

Fielding Law Is Proud to Support

Our $500 sponsorship helped cover 10 tickets for the event. More importantly, it allowed Fielding Law to support Ryan Hall, Onward Ops, and the broader mission of helping transitioning service members find their next opportunity.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make the event possible.

We are also grateful to the participants who showed up ready to work, connect, and have fun.

Supporting our community is an important part of who we are at Fielding Law. We are proud to work with organizations that bring people together and create opportunities for others.

The Onward Ops event was a great example of what can happen when people come together around a shared purpose.

A workout can build strength.

Together, teams can build confidence.

Strong communities can build something that lasts.

We were proud to be part of it.

Before You Go: Arizona Labor Day Festival Safety Tips

In the Community

Labor Day weekend is a popular time for festivals, concerts, and community events across Arizona. From live music and food vendors to carnival rides and outdoor celebrations, there is plenty to look forward to.

But large events can also bring crowded walkways, extreme heat, long lines, busy parking areas, and increased traffic.

A little preparation can help you enjoy the festivities while reducing avoidable risks. Whether you are attending with friends, bringing your children, or traveling to an event from out of town, keep these Labor Day festival safety tips in mind.

Before The Festival: Prepare For The Day

A safer festival experience starts before you leave home. Arizona’s weather can change quickly, and outdoor events can mean spending several hours in the heat.

Check the weather forecast before heading out. If the event is outdoors, dress for the conditions and plan for time in the sun.

Consider bringing:

  • Lightweight, breathable clothing
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • A hat
  • A reusable water bottle, if permitted
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Necessary medications
  • A small first-aid kit
  • A portable fan or cooling towel
  • A fully charged phone

If you are attending with family or friends, talk about your plans before arriving. Choose a meeting location in case someone becomes separated from the group.

It can also help to share your itinerary with someone who will not be attending. Let them know where you will be and when you expect to return.

During The Festival: Stay Aware

Once you arrive, it can be easy to get caught up in the excitement. Large crowds can also make it harder to keep track of your surroundings.

Pay attention to where you are walking and keep an eye on the people in your group. If you are attending with children, make sure they remain within sight.

Before the event gets busy, take note of:

  • Emergency exits
  • First-aid stations
  • Security or event staff
  • Restrooms
  • Designated meeting areas
  • Entrances and exits

Follow instructions from event organizers, security personnel and emergency responders. If conditions become unsafe, leave the area and follow directions from those responsible for managing the event.

Alcohol And Impaired Driving

Alcohol may be part of some Labor Day celebrations, but getting home safely should be part of the plan, too.

If you plan to drink, arrange transportation before you arrive. Designate a sober driver, use a rideshare service, take a taxi, or make another transportation arrangement.

Do not get behind the wheel after drinking.

It is also important to remember that you cannot control the choices of other drivers. Be especially alert when leaving a festival or event. Watch for vehicles entering and leaving parking areas and remain aware of pedestrians.

Keep An Eye On Children

Festivals can be exciting for children, but crowded environments can also create additional risks.

Before entering a busy area, remind children what to do if they become separated from you. Choose a specific meeting location and make sure they know how to identify event staff.

Keep children within sight whenever possible. Avoid allowing them to wander near roadways, parking areas, or other potentially hazardous locations.

If your child is old enough to carry a phone, make sure it is charged before leaving home.

Be Careful with Festival Food

Food vendors are a major part of many festivals. Unfortunately, improperly handled food can lead to foodborne illness.

Reduce the risk by paying attention to how food is prepared and served.

  • Choose reputable vendors.
  • Make sure hot food is served hot.
  • Make sure cold food is kept cold.
  • Avoid food that appears undercooked.
  • Avoid food that appears to have been sitting out too long.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before eating.
  • Ask about ingredients if you have food allergies.
  • Let vendors know about serious dietary restrictions before ordering.

If you believe unsafe food caused an illness or injury, keep your receipts and other information about the vendor when possible.

Learn more about food poisoning claims and your legal options.

Ride Safety Matters

Carnival rides and other attractions can be a highlight of a festival. They can also create serious risks when equipment is defective, poorly maintained, or improperly operated.

Before getting on a ride, pay attention to posted rules and instructions. Use all required restraints and make sure they are secured properly.

Do not board a ride if something appears unsafe or if you notice a problem with the equipment.

Festival organizers and ride operators also have responsibilities. They should properly maintain equipment, follow applicable safety requirements, and take reasonable precautions to protect guests.

When negligent operation, poor maintenance, or another unsafe condition causes an injury, the circumstances may support a personal injury claim.

Stay Safe at Concerts

Live music is often a major part of Labor Day celebrations. Large concerts can bring tightly packed crowds, loud music, and heavy foot traffic.

Know where the exits are located before the event becomes crowded. Stay aware of your surroundings and keep track of the people you came with.

Follow venue rules and instructions from event personnel. Avoid entering restricted areas or places that appear unsafe.

If you notice someone who needs help, alert security or event staff rather than putting yourself in danger.

Protect Yourself From The Heat

Arizona’s heat deserves special attention during Labor Day weekend. Even as summer begins to wind down, temperatures can remain dangerously high.

You may spend hours walking between activities, standing in lines, or sitting in direct sunlight. Dehydration can happen faster than you realize.

To help stay comfortable and safe:

  • Drink water throughout the day.
  • Carry a reusable water bottle when permitted.
  • Take regular breaks in the shade or an air-conditioned area.
  • Wear lightweight, breathable clothing.
  • Use sunscreen and reapply it as needed.
  • Wear a hat and sunglasses.
  • Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest conditions.
  • Pay attention to how you and your companions are feeling.

Do not ignore signs that someone may be struggling with the heat. Move to a cooler location and seek appropriate medical attention when necessary.

Watch For Arizona Monsoon Weather

Labor Day falls during Arizona’s monsoon season. Sudden thunderstorms can bring lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, and blowing dust.

Check the forecast before leaving and continue monitoring weather conditions during the event.

If severe weather approaches, follow instructions from event organizers. Move to an appropriate shelter and avoid exposed areas during lightning.

If you are driving during a storm, slow down and never attempt to drive through a flooded roadway.

After The Festival: Stay Alert

Leaving a festival can be just as busy as arriving.

Large events can create crowded parking lots, long lines of vehicles, and pedestrians crossing near roadways. Give yourself extra time and avoid rushing to leave.

When driving away from an event:

  • Follow posted traffic signs.
  • Watch for pedestrians.
  • Stay alert for vehicles entering traffic.
  • Avoid distractions.
  • Maintain a safe following distance.
  • Never drive while impaired.
  • Be patient in congested areas.

A few extra minutes can be worth it when everyone is trying to leave at the same time.

Watch For Trip and Fall Hazards

Festival grounds, parking areas, and nearby businesses can become crowded and messy throughout the day.

Watch for potential hazards such as:

  • Uneven pavement
  • Spills
  • Debris
  • Cords or equipment
  • Potholes
  • Poorly maintained walkways
  • Unexpected changes in elevation
  • Crowded walkways

Stay alert while walking, especially when visibility is limited or you are navigating an unfamiliar area.

Event organizers and property owners may have a responsibility to address dangerous conditions and provide appropriate warnings. When a hazardous condition is overlooked and someone is injured, the circumstances may support a negligence claim.

Enjoy Labor Day Safely

Labor Day weekend is a time to celebrate, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy everything Arizona has to offer. Taking a few precautions before and during a festival can help you focus on the experience instead of preventable problems.

Stay hydrated. Know where you are going. Keep track of your group. Watch the weather. Make a safe plan for getting home.

Most importantly, remember that safety is a shared responsibility. You can make careful choices while also staying alert to hazards created by other people, event organizers, property owners or businesses.

At Fielding Law, we hope you have a safe and memorable Labor Day weekend. If you or someone you love is injured because of another person’s negligence, our team is here to help you understand your options.

Fielding Law Sponsors San Clemente High School Cheer

Fielding Law Sponsors San Clemente High School Cheer

Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community

Fielding Law Sponsors San Clemente High School CheerFielding Law is proud to support San Clemente High School Cheer for the first time as a sponsor for the 2026 season.

As a personal injury law firm serving communities in California and Arizona, Fielding Law believes being part of a community means more than serving clients. It means showing up for the people, schools, and organizations that help make those communities stronger.

This year, that commitment includes supporting the talented student-athletes of San Clemente High School Cheer.

Supporting Student Athletes

High school athletics provide students with opportunities that extend far beyond competition. They build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Cheer is no exception.

Cheerleaders dedicate countless hours to practices, performances, games, and competitions. Their work requires strength, coordination, focus, and trust. Every routine depends on athletes working together and supporting one another.

For many students, being part of a cheer team also creates friendships and memories that stay with them long after graduation.

Fielding Law is excited to support these student-athletes as they take on another season of hard work, school spirit, and competition.

Proud To Support San Clemente

San Clemente High School is an important part of the local community. Its athletic programs bring students, families, alumni and community members together throughout the year.

From Friday night football games to competitions and school events, student athletes help create the energy and spirit that make these experiences special.

Sponsoring SCHS Cheer gives Fielding Law an opportunity to support that spirit while recognizing the dedication these students bring to their team.

Community support can make a meaningful difference for school programs. Sponsorships help organizations provide resources and opportunities for students. They also show young athletes that their community is behind them.

For Fielding Law, that is what this partnership is about.

More Than a Competition

Cheerleading takes commitment.

Students must balance practices and performances with schoolwork, family responsibilities and everything else that comes with being a high school student. They learn how to manage their time, communicate with teammates and continue working toward a goal even when the process is challenging.

Those lessons can carry well beyond the cheer mat.

Teamwork teaches students how to trust the people around them. Leadership teaches them how to step up when others need support. Practice teaches them that improvement comes from consistency.

These are valuable skills in school, future careers and everyday life.

Fielding Law is proud to recognize the dedication behind the performances and support the students who put in the work behind the scenes.

A New Community Partnership

This is the first year Fielding Law has sponsored San Clemente High School Cheer. The firm is excited to become part of the program’s community of supporters.

Local sponsorships are one way businesses can invest in the communities they serve. For a firm like Fielding Law, those relationships are especially meaningful because the people who make up a community are at the heart of what the firm does every day.

The firm represents people who have suffered personal injuries and families who have experienced devastating losses. That work has reinforced the importance of having strong communities where people support one another.

Supporting local students is a natural extension of that belief.

Cheering On the Tritons

The 2026 season will bring new routines, new challenges, and plenty of opportunities for the SCHS Cheer team to represent their school.

Fielding Law will be cheering them on along the way.

Whether they are performing at a school event, supporting the Tritons from the sidelines or competing, these student-athletes deserve recognition for the time and effort they put into their team.

The firm is honored to play a part in supporting their season.

At Fielding Law, we believe community involvement is about more than putting a name on a banner. It is about investing in people and helping create opportunities for the next generation.

We are proud to support San Clemente High School Cheer and look forward to seeing what this team accomplishes this season.

Supporting The Community

Supporting local schools is one of the ways Fielding Law stays connected to the communities it serves. From youth sports to high school athletics and other local organizations, the firm believes strong communities are built when people and businesses come together.

Congratulations to the SCHS Cheer team on the start of another season. We are proud to support you, proud to support San Clemente and proud to cheer you on.

Fielding Law Proudly Sponsors SCHS Girls Flag Football for the Third Year

Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community

Third Year, Same Commitment

San Clemente High School Girl's Flag FootballFor the third consecutive year, Fielding Law is proud to sponsor the San Clemente High School Girls Flag Football team. What began as support for an exciting new program has grown into a tradition that reflects our commitment to the students, families, and community we proudly serve.

Watching this team continue to grow has been inspiring. Each season has brought new athletes, unforgettable moments, and another opportunity to see the dedication these young women bring to the field. Their determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship remind us why supporting local youth athletics is so important.

As another season begins, we are excited to stand behind the Tritons once again and cheer them on every step of the way.

More Than a Sponsorship

Community involvement has always been an important part of Fielding Law. We believe that supporting local schools and athletic programs creates lasting opportunities for students to grow both on and off the field.

A sponsorship is about much more than displaying a banner or logo. It is about encouraging confidence, celebrating hard work, and investing in the next generation of leaders.

High school sports teach lessons that last long after the final whistle. Student athletes learn to communicate, trust their teammates, overcome challenges, and work toward common goals. Those same qualities prepare them for success in college, careers, and life.

By continuing our partnership with SCHS Girls Flag Football, we are proud to play a small role in helping these athletes pursue their goals.

Watching the Program Continue to Grow

When girls flag football first arrived at San Clemente High School, it represented an exciting new opportunity for young athletes. Since then, the program has continued to build momentum and inspire more students to get involved.

Every season brings returning leaders and new faces eager to make their mark. From preseason practices to game nights under the stadium lights, the commitment these athletes demonstrate is something worth celebrating.

The growth of girls flag football reflects the increasing opportunities available to female athletes across California. As participation continues to rise, so does the impact these programs have on students and the surrounding community. Fielding Law is honored to continue supporting that progress.

Lessons That Go Beyond Flag Football

Winning games is exciting, but the greatest victories often happen away from the scoreboard.

Student athletes develop resilience through challenging practices and difficult games. They learn accountability by showing up for their teammates every day. They build confidence by stepping outside their comfort zones and discovering what they are capable of accomplishing.

These experiences shape future leaders.

Whether these athletes continue playing sports after high school or pursue entirely different paths, the lessons they learn today will remain with them for years to come.

We admire the effort, discipline, and positive attitude that the SCHS Girls Flag Football team demonstrates throughout every season.

Supporting San Clemente

As a law firm serving Southern California families, Fielding Law believes in giving back to the communities that have supported us over the years.

Our commitment extends beyond the courtroom. We enjoy finding meaningful ways to support local schools, youth sports, and community organizations that make San Clemente such a special place.

The Tritons represent more than just a football team. They represent school pride, perseverance, and a community that comes together to support one another.

That sense of unity reflects many of the same values we strive to bring to our clients every day.

Looking Forward to Another Great Season

The excitement surrounding another SCHS Girls Flag Football season continues to grow, and we cannot wait to see what this year brings.

Every practice, every game, and every challenge provides another opportunity for these athletes to learn, improve, and support one another. We know the coaching staff, players, families, and fans will continue creating an environment that encourages success both on and off the field.

To every player wearing the Triton uniform this season, know that your hard work does not go unnoticed. We are proud to support your journey and look forward to cheering you on throughout the year.

Go Tritons!

Fielding Law Proudly Sponsors San Juan Hills High School Football

In the Community

At Fielding Law, we believe that strong communities are built through support, service, and meaningful local involvement. That is why we are proud to announce our first year sponsoring the San Juan Hills High School Football Team in San Juan Capistrano.

This partnership is an exciting opportunity for Fielding Law to support student-athletes, coaches, families, and fans who make Stallion football such an important part of the community.

Supporting Student-Athletes On and Off the Field

High school football is about much more than what happens on game day. It teaches young athletes the value of discipline, teamwork, accountability, and perseverance. Every practice, every game, and every challenge helps students grow into stronger leaders both on and off the field.

The San Juan Hills High School Football Team represents dedication, hard work, and school pride. These student-athletes commit countless hours to training, studying plays, building strength, and learning how to work together toward a shared goal.

Why This Sponsorship Matters to Fielding Law

As a personal injury law firm, Fielding Law understands how important it is for people to feel supported during challenging times. Our team is committed to helping injury victims and their families move forward with confidence, care, and compassion.

That same commitment to support extends beyond our legal work. By sponsoring San Juan Hills High School Football, Fielding Law is investing in local students and the community that surrounds them. We are honored to play a small role in helping the program continue to grow and provide meaningful experiences for its athletes.

Building Community Through Local Sports

High school football has a unique way of bringing people together. Friday night games are more than athletic events. They are community gatherings where students, parents, alumni, teachers, and local supporters come together to cheer for the Stallions.

Programs like San Juan Hills football rely on support from families, volunteers, school staff, and local sponsors. These contributions help provide resources that allow student-athletes to train, compete, and represent their school with pride.

Lessons That Last Beyond the Season

The lessons learned through football often last long after the season ends. Players learn how to overcome setbacks, trust their teammates, respond to pressure, and keep working even when things are difficult. These are the same qualities that help young people succeed in school, careers, relationships, and future leadership roles.

Fielding Law is proud to support a program that encourages these values. We believe that when young people are given opportunities to grow, compete, and lead, the entire community benefits.

Stuffing Joy Jars for Kids With Cancer

A Return That Meant Something

Volunteering for kids with cancer looks different for everyone, but for the Fielding Law team, it meant returning to the headquarters of the Jessie Rees Foundation to stuff JoyJars once again. From the moment the team walked in, there was a shared sense of purpose.

This was not a first visit. However, volunteering for kids with cancer a second time brought a deeper level of connection. Familiar faces, meaningful work, and a mission rooted in hope created a day that stayed with everyone long after it ended.

Volunteering For Kids With Cancer Through JoyJars

At its core, volunteering for kids with cancer can be simple. The team gathered around tables, carefully filling each JoyJar with small items meant to bring comfort and distraction. Then, each jar was packed with intention.

Although the items may seem small, the impact is not. Each jar is created for a child facing treatment. Because of that, every piece placed inside carries meaning.

In addition, the experience brings people together. It allows teams to slow down and focus on something bigger than themselves. That shift matters.

A Perspective That Stays With You

After volunteering for kids with cancer, many people leave with a different outlook. The day does not feel ordinary. Instead, it feels grounding.

Clark H. Fielding, who participated for the second time, shared,
“You always feel a sense of gratitude, enlightenment, and purpose after serving. It brings a clearer life perspective and helps reprioritize what truly matters.”

His words reflect what the team experienced. As a result, everyday stress feels quieter. Priorities feel clearer. Gratitude becomes easier to recognize.

Why Volunteering For Kids With Cancer Matters To Us

For Fielding Law, volunteering for kids with cancer is part of a larger commitment to helping people. While legal work focuses on guiding clients through difficult moments, community outreach allows the team to give back in a different way.

More importantly, it reflects who they are. Showing up matters. Being present matters. Supporting others, in any way possible, matters.

Because of that, these moments are not one time events. They are part of an ongoing effort to stay connected to the community.

Carrying Service Forward

After a day like this, the feeling does not fade quickly. Instead, it follows you into everyday life.

What once felt important may shift. Challenges can feel more manageable. A clearer sense of perspective begins to take shape and stays present in quiet ways.

Volunteering for kids with cancer does more than support others. It leaves a lasting impression on those who show up to serve.

At Fielding Law, that perspective is something the team values deeply. If you need guidance after an injury, you can call 833.88.SHARK for a free consultation. The team is here to help with care, clarity, and compassion.

2026 Chapman University Competitions Reception

Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community, Personal Injury

The Chapman Competitions Reception at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, held in Kennedy Hall, honored students competing in the 2025 to 2026 advocacy competitions season. The event brought together students, alumni, and coaches to recognize growth in trial and appellate advocacy.

Each competitor was called to the stage by name and individually recognized. The evening also included speeches from graduating students and alumni coaches. Two awards were presented, Coach of the Year and the Nancy L. Schultz Excellence in Advocacy Awards.

Fielding Law Sponsorship

Fielding Law was proud to support the Chapman Competitions Reception sponsorship as part of its ongoing commitment to advocacy education at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law.

Events like this reflect the same values that matter in practice, preparation, communication, and attention to detail. These are the skills students develop through competition and carry into their legal careers.

Ryan Cooper speaking at the 2026 Chapman University Competitions ReceptionAlumni Connection And Ryan Cooper

Ryan Cooper, Senior Attorney at Fielding Law and a Competitions alumnus, served as an alumni speaker and shared reflections on his experience in the program at Chapman University. His remarks highlighted how advocacy training shaped his approach to legal work and professional development.

Alumni involvement continues to strengthen the connection between current students and practicing attorneys.

Building Future Legal Teams

Fielding Law also maintains a strong connection to Chapman University through its internship and law clerk program. Several members of our team have come directly from Chapman University and Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, bringing strong advocacy training into real casework experience.

These early opportunities allow students to apply classroom and competition skills in a professional setting while gaining exposure to personal injury and negligence cases.

Why It Matters

Supporting programs like the Chapman Competitions Reception reflects a broader commitment to developing future advocates. The transition from student competitions to real legal practice is shaped by mentorship, education, and hands-on experience.

Fielding Law values that pipeline and the students who grow within it.

Guiding Chapman University Law Students at Admitted Students Day 2026

Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community, Personal Injury

Ryan Cooper returned to Chapman University for Chapman Admitted Students Day 2026. As a Senior Attorney at Fielding Law and a graduate of Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, he met with future law students who are preparing to start their legal path.

In addition, the event helped students learn what law school is really like. It also gave them a chance to hear real stories from people who have already gone through the process.

Welcoming Future Law Students

Admitted Students Day is designed to help new students feel ready. Because of that, alumni and faculty spend time answering questions and sharing their experiences.

During the event, many students asked about the same key topics:

  • First year law school expectations
  • How to prepare before classes begin
  • Skills that matter most early on

As a result, students left with a clearer idea of what to expect. In many cases, this helps reduce stress before the first semester even begins.

From Law School To Practice

Ryan’s own path at Chapman helped shape his career. First, he graduated magna cum laude. Then, he ranked in the top five percent of his class. After that, he served as Managing Editor of Law Review.

He also took part in mock trial work. Because of this, he built strong speaking and case skills early on.

Today, he works at Fielding Law in personal injury law. He helps people who have been injured due to negligence and guides them through each step of the legal process.

Real World Insight For New Students

Events like this are helpful because they connect school life with real legal work.

For example, Ryan shared that law school success is not only about grades. Instead, it also depends on focus, clear communication, and steady work habits.

In addition, he explained that the legal field is always changing. Therefore, students who stay open and flexible often adjust more easily once they begin practice.

Why This Event Matters

Chapman Admitted Students Day 2026 helps future students feel more prepared. At the same time, it builds a stronger connection between alumni and new students.

Overall, when students hear directly from practicing attorneys, they gain clearer direction. As a result, they begin law school with more confidence and better expectations.

  • Sexual Assault Against Rideshare Passengers and Drivers Prevention and Accountability Act

These initiatives ensure that victims of negligence and assault retain access to justice, medical care, and fair compensation. Attendees also learned about deceptive tactics by companies like Uber and why supporting genuine consumer protections is essential.

How You Can Help

As petitions begin circulating, we want to urge you to be cautious and decline to sign Uber’s petition. Instead, we encourage you to sign petitions to get two initiatives that really do protect consumers on the ballot: People’s Right to Contract With Counsel of Choice Act and the Sexual Assault Against Rideshare Passengers. By doing so, your actions will help ensure that accident victims, and not multi-billion-dollar companies, continue to be protected under California law.

Fielding Law Supports the Community

Fielding Law is proud to host this event and to stand alongside Californians working to protect victims and uphold justice. We thank everyone who participated and helped advance these important protections.
