Ryan W. Cooper Recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® In 2027

Firm News and Celebrations

Fielding Law is proud to celebrate Ryan W. Cooper for his recognition in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America.

Ryan has been recognized for excellence in two areas of law:

  • Personal Injury Litigation, Plaintiffs
  • Product Liability Litigation, Plaintiffs

2027 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America

This recognition highlights Ryan’s dedication to representing people who have been injured and his commitment to providing strong legal advocacy.

It also reflects the professional respect he has earned from other attorneys in his field.

What Is Best Lawyers: Ones To Watch®?

Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® recognizes attorneys earlier in their careers who have demonstrated outstanding professional excellence in private practice.

According to Best Lawyers, recipients typically have between five and nine years of experience.

The recognition uses the organization’s Purely Peer Review® methodology. The process is designed to reflect the opinions of attorneys practicing in the same geographic area and legal practice area.

That makes this recognition especially meaningful.

It is not simply based on an attorney submitting an application. The process includes nominations, peer review, analysis of feedback, and an eligibility review.

Ryan Recognized In Two Practice Areas

Ryan received recognition for both Personal Injury Litigation, Plaintiffs, and Product Liability Litigation, Plaintiffs.

These areas share a common focus: helping people who have suffered harm seek accountability and compensation.

Personal Injury Litigation

Personal injury cases can arise from many different situations.

A person may be injured in a car accident, motorcycle accident, pedestrian accident or other incident caused by negligence. Some cases involve dangerous property conditions or other forms of liability.

Ryan focuses his practice on representing injured people and their families.

Each case requires careful attention to the facts. It can also require reviewing medical records, gathering evidence, determining liability, and understanding how an injury has affected the client’s life.

For someone dealing with a serious injury, the legal process can feel overwhelming.

Having an experienced personal injury attorney can help clients understand their rights and legal options.

Product Liability Litigation

Product liability cases involve injuries connected to defective or dangerous products.

These cases can be complex. Determining responsibility may require examining how a product was designed, manufactured, marketed or sold.

An attorney may also need to investigate whether warnings were adequate and whether a product presented an unreasonable risk to consumers.

Product liability litigation can hold manufacturers, distributors and other responsible parties accountable when defective products cause harm.

Ryan’s recognition in this area reflects his experience handling cases involving complex questions of liability and injury.

How Is The Recognition Earned?

Best Lawyers uses a multi-step process to determine its recipients.

First, an attorney must be nominated. Candidates then participate in a confidential peer-review process. Feedback is collected and analyzed before Best Lawyers conducts an eligibility review.

The process is based on professional peer feedback.

Attorneys evaluate other lawyers based on their professional abilities and reputation within their practice areas.

Best Lawyers explains that its peer-review process is designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers regarding the professional abilities of their colleagues.

For Ryan, that makes this recognition particularly meaningful.

His peers recognize his work in the same areas of law where he represents injured clients.

Why Peer Recognition Matters

Clients often have many factors to consider when choosing a personal injury attorney.

Experience matters. Communication matters. A commitment to clients matters.

Professional recognition can also provide useful insight into an attorney’s standing within the legal community.

Best Lawyers reports that its Ones to Watch awards are based on the same Purely Peer Review® methodology used for its traditional Best Lawyers recognitions.

The organization also notes that lawyers cannot vote for themselves.

That helps distinguish the recognition from an award based solely on self-submission or paid placement.

A Client-Focused Approach

An injury can affect much more than a person’s physical health.

Medical treatment can create unexpected expenses. An injury may prevent someone from working. A serious accident can also affect family responsibilities and everyday activities.

These challenges can continue long after the initial accident.

A personal injury attorney’s role is to help clients navigate the legal process while pursuing the compensation available under the law.

At Fielding Law, our attorneys understand that every client has a different story.

We take time to understand what happened, how the injury has affected the client and what steps may be necessary to pursue the case.

Our goal is to provide knowledgeable legal representation while treating every client with compassion and respect.

Experience Matters in Injury Cases

Personal injury litigation requires more than understanding the law.

Attorneys must investigate the circumstances surrounding an accident. They may need to work with medical professionals, review records, interview witnesses and gather other evidence.

They must also understand how insurance companies evaluate claims.

Strong preparation can make a difference.

Ryan’s experience representing plaintiffs allows him to approach cases from the perspective of an attorney who understands the challenges injured clients face.

His recognition in both personal injury and product liability litigation reflects that experience.

Congratulations, Ryan

Congratulations to Ryan W. Cooper on being recognized in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America.

Recognition in both Personal Injury Litigation, Plaintiffs and Product Liability Litigation, Plaintiffs is an important professional achievement.

It reflects Ryan’s continued commitment to his clients and the respect he has earned from fellow attorneys.

At Fielding Law, we are proud to have Ryan on our team and proud of the work he does for injured people and their families.

If you or someone you love has been injured because of someone else’s negligence, our team is here to help you understand your legal options.

Clark H. Fielding Best Lawyers 2027 Recognition: What It Means for Clients

Firm News and Celebrations

Clark H. Fielding has been recognized in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for excellence in two areas of law:

  • Personal Injury Litigation, Plaintiffs
  • Product Liability Litigation, Plaintiffs

Best Lawyers 2027 Award

The Clark H. Fielding Best Lawyers recognition is a meaningful professional honor. It reflects years of dedicated advocacy and a commitment to helping injured individuals and their families.

But what does this recognition actually mean for clients? How is it earned? And why should professional recognition matter when choosing a personal injury attorney?

What Is Best Lawyers?

The Best Lawyers in America® has recognized legal professionals for more than 40 years.

The publication first appeared in 1983. It continues to evaluate attorneys through a peer-review process that considers specific legal practice areas and geographic markets.

Unlike many forms of advertising, Best Lawyers recognition is based on the opinions of other lawyers.

That distinction matters.

An attorney is not simply recognized because of a strong website, social media presence, or marketing campaign.

Recognition comes through a professional evaluation process involving other attorneys who understand the legal profession and the work required to represent clients effectively.

For clients, that provides another useful factor to consider when researching potential legal representation.

How Is Recognition Earned?

Best Lawyers recognition begins with a nomination.

Lawyers can be nominated by various people, including other attorneys. A nomination does not automatically result in recognition.

Candidates then participate in the organization’s peer-review process. Recognized lawyers take part in confidential evaluations of their peers.

The feedback is collected and analyzed before Best Lawyers determines which attorneys will be included in the annual publication.

Attorneys must also meet eligibility requirements, including maintaining good standing with their state bar association.

Best Lawyers also states that lawyers cannot pay to be recognized. The organization does not accept fees for consideration or inclusion.

That makes the recognition especially meaningful.

It is not something an attorney can purchase. It is earned through a process designed to measure professional respect among peers.

Why Peer Recognition Matters

When someone suffers a serious injury, choosing an attorney can feel overwhelming.

There may be many lawyers advertising personal injury services. Firms may promote large settlements, verdicts, awards, or years of experience.

Those things can provide useful information. However, they do not always tell the entire story.

Professional recognition offers another perspective.

Other attorneys understand what goes into handling complex personal injury cases. They understand the importance of investigating evidence, reviewing medical records, communicating with insurance companies, preparing cases for litigation, and protecting a client’s interests.

They also understand that effective advocacy involves much more than winning an argument.

It requires preparation, judgment, communication, persistence, and knowledge of the law.

Recognition from legal peers can reflect that professional reputation.

Personal Injury Litigation, Plaintiffs

One of Clark H. Fielding’s 2027 recognitions is for Personal Injury Litigation, Plaintiffs.

This area of law focuses on representing people who have been injured because of another party’s negligence or wrongful conduct.

Personal injury cases can involve many different circumstances.

A person may be injured in a car accident, motorcycle accident, pedestrian accident, truck accident, or slip and fall.

Injuries can range from relatively minor to life-changing.

The legal process can also become complicated quickly.

Insurance companies may investigate a claim almost immediately. Medical treatment may continue for months or years.

Lost wages can create financial pressure. A serious injury may affect a person’s ability to work, care for family, or enjoy everyday life.

An experienced personal injury attorney can help clients understand their rights and legal options.

For clients of Fielding Law, Clark’s recognition in this practice area reinforces the firm’s commitment to plaintiff advocacy.

It reflects a professional reputation built through years of representing injured individuals and families.

Product Liability Litigation, Plaintiffs

Clark was also recognized for Product Liability Litigation, Plaintiffs.

Product liability cases involve injuries caused by defective or unsafe products.

These cases can present unique legal challenges. They may require an investigation into how a product was designed, manufactured, marketed, or distributed.

A defective product can cause serious harm even when someone uses it as intended.

These cases may involve defective vehicles, dangerous equipment, unsafe consumer products, defective medical devices, or other products that create unreasonable risks.

Product liability litigation can require extensive investigation and careful review of evidence.

Attorneys may need to examine product designs, warnings, manufacturing records, testing information, expert opinions, and other technical evidence.

For an injured person, having an attorney who understands these issues can be important.

Clark’s recognition in both personal injury and product liability litigation demonstrates his work across different types of plaintiff-focused cases.

What This Means for Clients

An award or professional recognition cannot guarantee a particular result in a legal case.

Every personal injury claim is different.

The facts, evidence, injuries, insurance coverage, applicable laws, and circumstances can all affect the outcome.

Best Lawyers recognition should not be viewed as a guarantee of a specific result. It also does not mean that one attorney is right for every legal matter.

Instead, recognition can serve as one factor clients consider when evaluating an attorney.

For someone looking for legal representation, it may provide reassurance that an attorney has earned respect from other members of the legal profession.

That can be especially valuable during an already difficult time.

Experience With a Purpose

At Fielding Law, the focus has always been on helping injured people move forward after an accident or injury.

For clients, legal representation is about much more than a case number.

Behind every case is a person whose life may have changed unexpectedly.

That person may be dealing with medical appointments, missed work, financial stress, or uncertainty about the future.

A personal injury attorney’s job is to help shoulder some of that burden.

The Clark H. Fielding Best Lawyers recognition is meaningful because it reflects the professional standards behind that work.

It recognizes the knowledge, experience, and dedication that Clark H. Fielding brings to representing plaintiffs.

A Well-Earned Honor

Congratulations to Clark H. Fielding on his recognition in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for Personal Injury Litigation, Plaintiffs and Product Liability Litigation, Plaintiffs.

This honor represents more than a name on a list.

It reflects professional recognition earned through years of legal work and advocacy.

For Fielding Law, it is an opportunity to celebrate Clark’s achievement while remaining focused on what matters most: serving injured individuals and their families.

If you or someone you love has been injured because of another party’s negligence, understanding your legal rights can be an important first step.

The team at Fielding Law is committed to helping clients understand their options and pursue the compensation they may deserve.

Fielding Law Sponsors San Clemente High School Cheer

Fielding Law Sponsors San Clemente High School Cheer

Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community

Fielding Law Sponsors San Clemente High School CheerFielding Law is proud to support San Clemente High School Cheer for the first time as a sponsor for the 2026 season.

As a personal injury law firm serving communities in California and Arizona, Fielding Law believes being part of a community means more than serving clients. It means showing up for the people, schools, and organizations that help make those communities stronger.

This year, that commitment includes supporting the talented student-athletes of San Clemente High School Cheer.

Supporting Student Athletes

High school athletics provide students with opportunities that extend far beyond competition. They build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Cheer is no exception.

Cheerleaders dedicate countless hours to practices, performances, games, and competitions. Their work requires strength, coordination, focus, and trust. Every routine depends on athletes working together and supporting one another.

For many students, being part of a cheer team also creates friendships and memories that stay with them long after graduation.

Fielding Law is excited to support these student-athletes as they take on another season of hard work, school spirit, and competition.

Proud To Support San Clemente

San Clemente High School is an important part of the local community. Its athletic programs bring students, families, alumni and community members together throughout the year.

From Friday night football games to competitions and school events, student athletes help create the energy and spirit that make these experiences special.

Sponsoring SCHS Cheer gives Fielding Law an opportunity to support that spirit while recognizing the dedication these students bring to their team.

Community support can make a meaningful difference for school programs. Sponsorships help organizations provide resources and opportunities for students. They also show young athletes that their community is behind them.

For Fielding Law, that is what this partnership is about.

More Than a Competition

Cheerleading takes commitment.

Students must balance practices and performances with schoolwork, family responsibilities and everything else that comes with being a high school student. They learn how to manage their time, communicate with teammates and continue working toward a goal even when the process is challenging.

Those lessons can carry well beyond the cheer mat.

Teamwork teaches students how to trust the people around them. Leadership teaches them how to step up when others need support. Practice teaches them that improvement comes from consistency.

These are valuable skills in school, future careers and everyday life.

Fielding Law is proud to recognize the dedication behind the performances and support the students who put in the work behind the scenes.

A New Community Partnership

This is the first year Fielding Law has sponsored San Clemente High School Cheer. The firm is excited to become part of the program’s community of supporters.

Local sponsorships are one way businesses can invest in the communities they serve. For a firm like Fielding Law, those relationships are especially meaningful because the people who make up a community are at the heart of what the firm does every day.

The firm represents people who have suffered personal injuries and families who have experienced devastating losses. That work has reinforced the importance of having strong communities where people support one another.

Supporting local students is a natural extension of that belief.

Cheering On the Tritons

The 2026 season will bring new routines, new challenges, and plenty of opportunities for the SCHS Cheer team to represent their school.

Fielding Law will be cheering them on along the way.

Whether they are performing at a school event, supporting the Tritons from the sidelines or competing, these student-athletes deserve recognition for the time and effort they put into their team.

The firm is honored to play a part in supporting their season.

At Fielding Law, we believe community involvement is about more than putting a name on a banner. It is about investing in people and helping create opportunities for the next generation.

We are proud to support San Clemente High School Cheer and look forward to seeing what this team accomplishes this season.

Supporting The Community

Supporting local schools is one of the ways Fielding Law stays connected to the communities it serves. From youth sports to high school athletics and other local organizations, the firm believes strong communities are built when people and businesses come together.

Congratulations to the SCHS Cheer team on the start of another season. We are proud to support you, proud to support San Clemente and proud to cheer you on.

Go Tritons!

Fielding Law Meets The Next Generation at Chapman OCI

Fielding Law Meets The Next Generation at Chapman OCI

Firm News and Celebrations

At Fielding Law, we believe investing in the future of the legal profession starts with investing in people. That is why our team recently attended On-Campus Interviews, also known as OCIs, at Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law.

Ryan Cooper, a Chapman alum and attorney at Fielding Law, attended alongside Siera Garcia from our People & Culture team. The two had the opportunity to meet law students, learn about their experiences, and connect with future attorneys who are beginning to shape their careers.

It was a fun and meaningful experience for our team. For Ryan, returning to Chapman as an alum made the day even more special.

What Are On-Campus Interviews?

Fielding Law Meets The Next Generation at Chapman OCIOn-Campus Interviews are an important part of the law school recruiting process. They give employers and law students an opportunity to connect through interviews hosted directly on campus.

Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law offers an on-campus recruiting program that connects employers with students for potential internships, clerkships and employment opportunities.

For law students, OCIs can be an important step toward building their professional careers. They provide an opportunity to meet employers, ask questions, and learn more about different areas of the legal profession.

For law firms, these events provide something equally valuable: the chance to meet the people behind the resumes.

At Fielding Law, that personal connection matters.

Why Fielding Law Participates

Finding the right people to join a law firm is about more than reviewing a resume.

Our attorneys and team members work closely together to help clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That takes legal knowledge, but it also takes empathy, communication, professionalism and a genuine desire to help others.

Events like OCIs give us an opportunity to look for those qualities.

A resume can tell us where someone went to school and what experiences they have had. A conversation can tell us much more. We can learn what motivates someone, what areas of law interest them and what they hope to accomplish in their career.

It also gives students an opportunity to learn about Fielding Law.

We can share what it is like to work at a boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm and explain the type of work our attorneys handle. Students can ask questions and get a better understanding of what a career in personal injury law can look like.

That exchange is valuable for everyone involved.

A Full-Circle Moment for Ryan

Fielding Law Meets The Next Generation at Chapman OCIFor Ryan Cooper, attending the Chapman OCI event had an added layer of meaning.

Ryan is a Chapman University Fowler School of Law alum. He once walked the halls as a law student preparing for his own career. This time, he returned to campus as a practicing attorney and representative of Fielding Law.

That perspective gives Ryan a unique understanding of what students may be experiencing.

Law school is filled with important decisions. Students are thinking about their practice areas, career goals, and what they want their professional lives to look like after graduation.

Having the opportunity to speak with an attorney who has already made that transition can provide a valuable perspective.

Ryan knows firsthand what it is like to be on the other side of the interview process. Now, he has an opportunity to connect with students who are preparing to take their own next steps.

Returning to Chapman was a full-circle moment and a great opportunity to give back to the law school community.

People and Culture Matters

Siera Garcia from People and Culture joined Ryan at the event, bringing another important perspective to the conversations.

At Fielding Law, recruiting is not simply about finding people with strong academic backgrounds. It is about finding people who can contribute to our team and share our commitment to our clients.

Culture plays an important role in that process.

Our team works together every day, so communication and collaboration matter. We want people who are willing to learn, contribute, and support those around them.

Meeting students in person helps us learn more about who they are beyond their resumes. It also gives students the chance to learn about our people and what makes Fielding Law different.

The right fit should work both ways.

Building Connections with Future Attorneys

Fielding Law Meets The Next Generation at Chapman OCIOne of the most valuable parts of attending events like Chapman’s OCI is the opportunity to build connections before a student ever joins a law firm.

Not every conversation has to lead directly to a job.

Sometimes, it is about helping a student learn more about personal injury law. Sometimes, it is about sharing a different perspective on practicing law. Sometimes, it is simply about giving a future attorney an opportunity to talk with someone who has already taken the path they are preparing to take.

Those conversations can make a difference.

At Fielding Law, we believe being involved in the legal community means more than practicing law. It also means supporting the people who will carry the profession forward.

OCIs give us a chance to do exactly that.

Supporting The Next Generation of Attorneys

The next generation of attorneys will bring new ideas, experiences, and perspectives to the legal profession.

They will become advocates for clients, colleagues, leaders and mentors. Some will build careers in areas of law they have not even discovered yet.

We believe law firms can play a role in helping students explore those possibilities.

That support can take many forms, including mentorship, internships, clerkships, networking and career conversations. Participating in events like OCIs is one way Fielding Law can connect with future attorneys and support them as they begin their careers.

We are proud to be part of that process.

More Than an Interview

An On-Campus Interview may be a short conversation, but the connection can last much longer.

For students, it is an opportunity to meet potential employers and learn about different paths in the legal profession. For attorneys, it is a chance to connect with future colleagues and give back to the law school community.

For Ryan, returning to Chapman as an alum made the experience especially meaningful. He was once a student preparing for his own career in law. Now, he has the opportunity to help the next generation take that same step.

Looking Ahead

At Fielding Law, we are proud to support law students and the future of the legal profession. Events like Chapman’s OCIs allow us to meet talented students, share our experience, and build relationships within the legal community.

We had a great time connecting with the Chapman Fowler School of Law community and look forward to continuing to support future attorneys along their journey.

Clark H. Fielding Attends Sintra Summit In Portugal

Clark H. Fielding Attends Sintra Summit In Portugal

Firm News and Celebrations

Clark H. Fielding Attends Sintra Summit In PortugalFielding Law founding principal Clark H. Fielding recently attended the 2026 Sintra Summit in Sintra, Portugal. The invitation-only event brought together legal innovators and law firm owners from around the world to explore the future of the legal industry.
Held July 22 through July 25 at the Penha Longa Ritz-Carlton, the Sintra Summit focused on innovation, technology, artificial intelligence, marketing, international growth and leadership. Clark was featured among the summit’s attendees.
For Fielding Law, opportunities like this are part of staying connected to the legal industry and continuing to explore new ideas that can help shape the firm’s future.

A Global Legal Event

The Sintra Summit was created for legal professionals who are interested in building modern law firms and exploring opportunities beyond traditional business models.

The event brought together law firm owners and legal innovators for several days of programming focused on the changing legal landscape. Topics included artificial intelligence, international business, marketing, wealth planning and strategies for long-term law firm growth.

The summit took place in Sintra, a historic Portuguese town located near Lisbon. The setting offered attendees an opportunity to participate in professional programming while experiencing a different culture and environment.

For Clark, attending an international event with other legal professionals provided an opportunity to connect with people who are also thinking about how the practice of law is changing.

Clark H. Fielding Featured as an Attendee

Clark was featured as an attendee of the 2026 Sintra Summit, joining other legal professionals who traveled to Portugal for the invitation-only gathering.

As founding principal of Fielding Law, Clark continues to look for opportunities to learn, connect and stay informed about developments affecting the legal profession.

Running a modern law firm involves more than practicing law. It also requires strong leadership, thoughtful business strategy, effective communication and a willingness to adapt as technology and client expectations change.

Attending events that bring together professionals from across the legal industry can provide valuable perspective on those changes.

Exploring the Future of Law Firm Innovation

A major focus of the Sintra Summit was the future of law firm growth.

The first full day of programming explored how firms can develop systems and teams that allow them to operate successfully while creating opportunities for continued growth. The agenda included discussions about international business, mobility, wealth planning and artificial intelligence.

The summit also featured a fireside chat involving Supio and Bob Simon, followed by programming focused on AI expansion.

These conversations reflect some of the larger changes taking place throughout the legal profession.

Technology continues to create new possibilities for how law firms manage information, communicate with clients, market their services and operate internally.

For law firm leaders, staying aware of those developments can help identify opportunities while also understanding where technology should and should not play a role.

Artificial Intelligence and the Legal Industry

Artificial intelligence was another significant focus of the Sintra Summit.

The 2026 agenda included programming focused on AI expansion as well as a hands-on AI Hackathon led by Swans. The hackathon gave attendees an opportunity to explore emerging AI technology and consider how it could be applied in real-world business settings.

AI is becoming an increasingly important topic for law firms.

As new tools become available, legal professionals are evaluating how technology can support research, organization, communication, marketing and other areas of their practices.

At the same time, technology does not replace the human side of legal representation.

Personal injury clients often come to Fielding Law during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. They may be recovering from an accident, facing medical treatment or dealing with financial uncertainty.

They need more than technology. They need people who listen, communicate and understand what they are going through.

That balance between innovation and personal service is important as the legal industry continues to evolve.

Looking At The Future Of Law Firm Growth

The second day of the Sintra Summit focused on what organizers described as the growth engine for the next ten years.

The programming included sessions on marketing, law firm growth, and artificial intelligence. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in the AI Hackathon.

For Fielding Law, continued growth is not simply about becoming a larger firm.

Growth should support the firm’s ability to provide strong legal representation and a positive experience for every client.

That requires a strong team, effective systems, and clear communication. It also requires staying open to new ideas and evaluating whether emerging tools can make the firm more efficient without taking away from the personal attention clients deserve.

Bringing New Perspectives Back To Fielding Law

One of the benefits of professional events is the opportunity to return with new perspectives.

Clark’s attendance at the Sintra Summit allowed him to spend time with other legal professionals who are exploring similar questions about leadership, technology, and the future of law firms.

Those conversations can provide new ways of looking at challenges and opportunities.

Not every new idea is right for every law firm. The value comes from learning what is happening across the industry and considering which developments may benefit the firm and its clients.

For Fielding Law, that means continuing to evaluate new technology and business strategies while maintaining the firm’s commitment to personalized service.

A Broader Perspective On Legal Leadership

Although Fielding Law serves clients in California and Arizona, the legal profession extends far beyond individual markets.

The Sintra Summit’s international focus gave Clark an opportunity to connect with legal professionals from different backgrounds and learn about approaches to law firm growth outside the United States.

The summit specifically explored international businesses, teams and wealth, as well as the opportunities created by technology and global mobility.

Exposure to different perspectives can be valuable for any leader.

It can encourage new ways of thinking and provide a broader understanding of where an industry may be headed.

For Clark, attending the Sintra Summit was another opportunity to step outside the firm’s everyday routine and engage with ideas affecting the future of legal services.

Continued Learning At Fielding Law

Professional development does not end with a law degree or years of experience.

The legal profession continues to change, and law firm leaders must continue learning along with it.

Clark’s attendance at the Sintra Summit reflects that commitment to continued education and professional growth. The event provided an opportunity to explore emerging technology, connect with other legal professionals and gain a broader perspective on the direction of the industry.

Those experiences can help inform how Fielding Law continues to grow.

The firm’s focus remains on representing people who have been injured because of someone else’s negligence. While technology and the legal industry may continue to change, the importance of listening to clients, communicating clearly and providing dedicated legal representation will not.

Looking Ahead

The future of the legal industry will continue to bring new challenges and opportunities.

Artificial intelligence, evolving technology, changing client expectations and new approaches to law firm management will all play a role in shaping that future.

For Fielding Law, staying engaged with those developments is part of building a firm that is prepared for what comes next.

Clark H. Fielding’s participation in the 2026 Sintra Summit provided an opportunity to connect with legal innovators, explore emerging ideas and gain a global perspective on the future of law.

Most importantly, continued learning creates opportunities to bring new perspectives back to the firm.

As Fielding Law continues to serve clients throughout California and Arizona, the firm remains committed to combining experience and personalized attention with a forward-thinking approach to the practice of personal injury law.

If you or a loved one has been injured because of someone else’s negligence, Fielding Law is here to help. Call 833.88.SHARK for a free consultation.

SCHS-Flag-Football-Sponsorship

Fielding Law Proudly Sponsors SCHS Girls Flag Football for the Third Year

Firm News and Celebrations, In the Community

Third Year, Same Commitment

San Clemente High School Girl's Flag FootballFor the third consecutive year, Fielding Law is proud to sponsor the San Clemente High School Girls Flag Football team. What began as support for an exciting new program has grown into a tradition that reflects our commitment to the students, families, and community we proudly serve.

Watching this team continue to grow has been inspiring. Each season has brought new athletes, unforgettable moments, and another opportunity to see the dedication these young women bring to the field. Their determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship remind us why supporting local youth athletics is so important.

As another season begins, we are excited to stand behind the Tritons once again and cheer them on every step of the way.

More Than a Sponsorship

Community involvement has always been an important part of Fielding Law. We believe that supporting local schools and athletic programs creates lasting opportunities for students to grow both on and off the field.

A sponsorship is about much more than displaying a banner or logo. It is about encouraging confidence, celebrating hard work, and investing in the next generation of leaders.

High school sports teach lessons that last long after the final whistle. Student athletes learn to communicate, trust their teammates, overcome challenges, and work toward common goals. Those same qualities prepare them for success in college, careers, and life.

By continuing our partnership with SCHS Girls Flag Football, we are proud to play a small role in helping these athletes pursue their goals.

Watching the Program Continue to Grow

When girls flag football first arrived at San Clemente High School, it represented an exciting new opportunity for young athletes. Since then, the program has continued to build momentum and inspire more students to get involved.

Every season brings returning leaders and new faces eager to make their mark. From preseason practices to game nights under the stadium lights, the commitment these athletes demonstrate is something worth celebrating.

The growth of girls flag football reflects the increasing opportunities available to female athletes across California. As participation continues to rise, so does the impact these programs have on students and the surrounding community. Fielding Law is honored to continue supporting that progress.

Lessons That Go Beyond Flag Football

Winning games is exciting, but the greatest victories often happen away from the scoreboard.

Student athletes develop resilience through challenging practices and difficult games. They learn accountability by showing up for their teammates every day. They build confidence by stepping outside their comfort zones and discovering what they are capable of accomplishing.

These experiences shape future leaders.

Whether these athletes continue playing sports after high school or pursue entirely different paths, the lessons they learn today will remain with them for years to come.

We admire the effort, discipline, and positive attitude that the SCHS Girls Flag Football team demonstrates throughout every season.

Supporting San Clemente

As a law firm serving Southern California families, Fielding Law believes in giving back to the communities that have supported us over the years.

Our commitment extends beyond the courtroom. We enjoy finding meaningful ways to support local schools, youth sports, and community organizations that make San Clemente such a special place.

The Tritons represent more than just a football team. They represent school pride, perseverance, and a community that comes together to support one another.

That sense of unity reflects many of the same values we strive to bring to our clients every day.

Looking Forward to Another Great Season

The excitement surrounding another SCHS Girls Flag Football season continues to grow, and we cannot wait to see what this year brings.

Every practice, every game, and every challenge provides another opportunity for these athletes to learn, improve, and support one another. We know the coaching staff, players, families, and fans will continue creating an environment that encourages success both on and off the field.

To every player wearing the Triton uniform this season, know that your hard work does not go unnoticed. We are proud to support your journey and look forward to cheering you on throughout the year.

Go Tritons!

Backing the Tritons Once Again

At Fielding Law, we believe that investing in our community means investing in the next generation. That is why we are proud to sponsor San Clemente High School Triton Football for the second consecutive year. Supporting these dedicated student-athletes is about much more than displaying our name on a banner. It is about encouraging teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and community pride.

Friday nights in San Clemente bring together students, parents, alumni, and neighbors to cheer on the Tritons. The energy in the stadium reflects what makes this community special. Everyone comes together to support one another, celebrate achievements, and create memories that last a lifetime. We are honored to be part of that tradition once again.

More Than A Football Game

Football teaches valuable lessons that extend far beyond the field. Every practice, workout, and game helps student-athletes develop discipline, accountability, communication, and resilience. These qualities prepare young people not only for athletic success but also for college, careers, and life.

The Tritons continue to represent San Clemente with determination and sportsmanship. Whether they are preparing during the summer or competing under the Friday night lights, their commitment inspires everyone watching.

At Fielding Law, we admire that same commitment. Our personal injury attorneys and team understand that success comes from preparation, teamwork, and never giving up when challenges arise. Those values guide the way we represent every client and the way we support our community.

Why Community Sponsorship Matters

Community partnerships create opportunities for local students to thrive. Athletic programs rely on the support of families, volunteers, and local businesses to provide equipment, facilities, travel, and other resources that allow athletes to compete at a high level. The Triton Touchdown Club works year-round to raise funds that directly support the football program and its players.

By continuing our sponsorship for a second year, Fielding Law demonstrates our long-term commitment to San Clemente and the families who call this community home.

Supporting youth sports also strengthens the connection between local businesses and the people they serve. When businesses invest in schools, they help create stronger neighborhoods where students feel encouraged and valued.

We believe every athlete deserves a community that stands behind them.

A Tradition Of Excellence

San Clemente High School has built an impressive football tradition through years of dedication, hard work, and community support. The Tritons have earned multiple South Coast League championships and a California State Championship while continuing to develop athletes who compete with integrity and pride.

Those accomplishments are only part of the story.

Behind every successful season are countless hours of practice, coaching, volunteer efforts, and family support. The lessons learned through football often become lifelong skills that shape future leaders both on and off the field.

That is exactly the type of program Fielding Law is proud to support.

Looking Forward To Another Great Season

We cannot wait to see what this season has in store for the Tritons. From the first kickoff through the final whistle, we know these athletes will continue representing San Clemente with heart, determination, and teamwork.

We encourage everyone in the community to attend games, cheer loudly, and support these incredible student-athletes throughout the season. Local support makes a lasting impact and reminds every player that an entire community believes in them.

Good luck to the SCHS Tritons. We are excited to stand beside you for another unforgettable football season.

Personal Injury Attorneys Never Stop Learning: OCTLA Direct Exam Event

Personal Injury Attorneys Never Stop Learning: OCTLA Direct Exam Event

Firm News and Celebrations

Irvine Attorney Ryan CooperAt Fielding Law, every personal injury attorney is committed to continuous learning, professional development and refining the skills that help clients achieve the best possible outcomes. Growth in the courtroom comes from constant practice, observation and education.

On June 25, Senior Attorney Ryan Cooper helped organize a legal education event focused on direct examinations. The program brought together experienced trial lawyers for a hands-on learning experience centered on courtroom performance and effective witness questioning.

The timing carried added significance. As Ryan shared, “For me, I think the coolest thing was that this event last night was just hours after the compromise deal with Uber was inked.” He added that Governor of California Gavin Newsom had just signed SB 623 into law, finalizing major legislation tied to the resolution involving Uber.

Despite the importance of that development, attorneys still gathered later that evening to continue refining their courtroom skills.

That choice reflects a deeper professional mindset. A strong personal injury attorney understands that progress does not pause for headlines or major legal milestones. It continues through disciplined learning that directly benefits future clients.

Direct Examination in Practice

Direct examination is one of the most important tools in a trial. It shapes how jurors understand facts, injuries and credibility. It also sets the foundation for how a case is perceived from the very beginning.

The program featured live demonstrations led by Jason Sanchez of Simon Law Group and Michelle West of Robinson Calcagnie. They used real expert witnesses and modified case facts to protect confidentiality while maintaining realism.

Each demonstration showed how structure, tone and sequencing influence juror understanding. The attorneys broke down how to ask clear questions that allow witnesses to explain complex information in simple terms.

Their preparation created a valuable learning environment for every personal injury attorney in attendance. The focus stayed on building trust with the jury and presenting testimony in a way that feels authentic and persuasive.

The Role of Expert Witnesses

Expert witnesses play a critical role in personal injury litigation. They help explain medical findings, accident reconstruction and long-term impact in a way jurors can understand.

During the demonstration, attorneys observed how experts can strengthen a case when properly guided through direct examination. The goal is not to lead the witness, but to build clarity through careful questioning.

Strong direct examination helps bridge the gap between technical evidence and human understanding. It allows jurors to connect facts with real-world consequences.

This is where preparation becomes essential. A skilled personal injury attorney invests time in learning how to translate complex evidence into clear testimony that supports the client’s story.

Strengthening Courtroom Skill

Educational programs like this reinforce the importance of preparation at every stage of litigation. Direct examination is not just a procedural step. It is a strategic opportunity to shape the narrative of a case.

Every personal injury attorney benefits from studying how experienced trial lawyers structure testimony. Small adjustments in questioning can significantly impact how a jury receives information.

The demonstrations highlighted how pacing, repetition and foundation building all contribute to stronger presentations. They also showed how credibility is earned through consistency and clarity.

These are skills that directly translate into courtroom success. They help attorneys present injuries, liability and damages in a way that resonates with jurors and supports fair outcomes.

Commitment Beyond the Courtroom

The legal profession demands continuous improvement. Even after major developments like the SB 623 legislation involving Uber, attorneys returned to the classroom setting to keep learning.

That commitment demonstrates a core value shared by many trial lawyers. Success in one case does not replace the need to prepare for the next one.

At Fielding Law, this mindset is central to how every personal injury attorney approaches their work. Each case requires preparation, attention to detail and a willingness to keep improving.

Ongoing Commitment to Clients

Education and preparation remain essential to effective representation. Every courtroom skill developed through training ultimately benefits injured clients who rely on clear and persuasive advocacy.

The attorneys at Fielding Law continue to invest in professional growth to strengthen how they present cases and support clients through difficult moments.

Every personal injury attorney on the team understands that better preparation leads to better communication, stronger cases and more meaningful results for the people they represent.
